Victor is a delightful, medium-high energy German Shepherd puppy of about 12 months of age and weighing 85 pounds. He has a great, fun, goofy personality and acts like the puppy he is: extremely affectionate, very friendly and all about love and kisses. This well-behaved boy is wonderful with people, great when meeting new people, and was even great at the vet’s during his exam. He lives in a foster home with a few other dogs – some of small- and others of large-size – and loves to hang out, play all day, and has no problem sharing his toys. He knows how to use the doggie door and goes in and out to potty. He does great when left alone – is not destructive, does not try to escape, and doesn’t bark for no reason. Victor knows all his basic commands He can be reactive on his walks if he sees another dog, so this is something his future owner needs to work on. He gets very excited when meeting new people and can get jumpy.Victor loves playing fetch and a good game of Tug-o-War. He loves water, so if there is a pool in his forever home he might try to jump in and swim. The best type of home for him would be an active home. Older kids are ok, since he can be a little jumpy and mouthy, so we don’t recommend very young children. Since he is very playful, he will do best with a young, large-sized and playful dog.
