NURI is a 4–year-old Belgian Malinois male that weighs 40-pounds. He is completely blind and will need a forever home in the Los Angeles area – an ADULT-only home. A house with a yard OR a condo with a small yard would be the most suitable environment for this sweet boy. He is a typical Belgian Mal and can become protective of his person. Sometimes he gets excited around his person and tries to jump and hug and can be a little nippy in a happy way – that’s the reason why he’ll need to be in a home with no kids. He is a very friendly and affectionate dog that loves being around his people and feel safe. He does well when meeting dogs on his walks and also does well with dogs in his foster home.
Nuri is definitely not a fan of cats, so his future home needs to be cat-free. He is perfectly housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door. He is a very smart dog: he knows all his basic commands in Turkish, and in a very short time has learned his English commands.
– Is great on leash
– Is not destructive when left alone (but his max. alone time is about 4 – 5 hours)
– Is crate-trained
– Is great in the car
– Does not mind getting a bath
Nuri loves playing fetch: even though he is blind, if you throw the ball he has no problem finding it!
Nuri starts circling if he:
– Is nervous
– Hears a dog barking
– Needs to go potty
– Finds himself in a new room
Overall, he is a very good dog – just needs someone willing to brighten his life.
He has received a full vet check-up and his blood work results are normal.
Please share for a wonderful home.
