Kimo is a 5-year-old King Charles Spaniel-mix dog that weighs 15 pounds. Kimo ended up at the shelter because his owner died. He was traumatized and very scared, so after we saved him it took him a few days to feel safe. He is still recovering, getting used to his new life, and learning to trust people. This little boy is very sweet, affectionate, and wants to sit in his person’s lap – he just loves getting attention. Due to all the recent changes in his life he is still stressed, and we are looking for an adults-only home and possibly with a solo owner, and definitely no kids. He is good with dogs – he doesn’t play with them yet, but has no problem having them around. Kimo lives in a foster home with his foster mom and doesn’t like it when anyone comes to the house. He only loves his foster mom, no one else, but we are hoping that in time this behavior will change. This precious boy is learning his house manners, is crate-trained, and loves to sleep in bed under covers. He is good in the car but wants to sit in his person’s lap. Kimo needs an owner that is loving and patient.
Kimo is only available to local (Los Angeles area) adopters due to his behavioral issues.
